I was very uncomfortable, miserable for about 10-12 days. But my understanding is that about 17,000 older adults die from RSV every season.

Dr. Schuessler is a pediatrician accustomed to seeing children fall ill to RSV. Every year a few have serious complications. Recently, Dr. Schuessler himself contracted the RSV virus, dragging him down for a good 10 days. He worries about grandparents and grandchildren transmitting the virus back and forth.
